Educational Technology User Group or eTUG is a student group at The University of Northern Iowa for people who are interested in gaining experience in the field of educational technology. This group began years ago and then suffered an untimely death (lack of interest). But now it is being resurrected from the dead by Hailey Coggins and myself under the guidance of Dr. Zeitz. Right now we are in the planning process and the group will be in full swing by the beginning of the fall 2011 semester. Our focus will be on providing service to area schools, teachers, and students. Members of the group will provide support with incorporating technology into education. Members will aslo receive invaluable experience in this field that will inevitably translate to greater employment opportunities.
