Introduction Prezi

For my technology class we did something really different to introduce ourselves to each other. We formed groups of two people and we had to come up with a way using technology to introduce ourselves. I was really impressed with the creativity of some of our class members. A few did some videos the were really funny. The best part of the whole process was that we were freed from the constraints of being graded and this allowed us to experiment without fear of failure. We had to partner up with someone that we did not know. My classmate Kevin and I decided to do our presentation on Prezi. Our goal was to inform our peers about what we were studying, our goals, interests, and give incite into our personalities. I think that we accomplished our goals thought the medium that we used. I would like to use this idea of creating introduction presentations in my classroom someday. I was able to feel comfortable with and get to know Kevin really well and get a good feel for what the other students in the class are about in one shot. The only thing that I would of liked to seen is a way to post all of our presentations onto a site (like a wiki) so that I could of looked back on the others presentations.
